NoBhool ("the app") is developed by Archit Grover ("we", "us"). NoBhool has no account creation, no sign-in, and no way to identify you personally: you never enter an email, password, or name tied to an account.
Data that never leaves your device
Everything you track in NoBhool (reminders, categories, dates, notes, and any receipt photo or file you attach) is stored locally on your device only, using Apple's on-device SwiftData framework. None of it is transmitted to us or to any third party, and nothing is synced anywhere automatically. The app lets you export an encrypted backup of this data to a file of your choosing, protected by a passphrase only you know; we never see this file or its contents. Outside of a backup you've made yourself, if you delete the app or lose the device, that data is gone with it: we can't recover it, because we never had it.
Data sent to Firebase (Google)
We use Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Analytics for stability monitoring and product analytics:
- Crash and diagnostic data: crash logs, device model, OS version, app version. Used only to find and fix bugs.
- Anonymous usage events: which screens are opened and high-level actions like creating, completing, or renewing a reminder, along with the reminder's category name (for categories you create yourself, only the word "Custom" is sent, never the name you typed). No reminder titles, dates, notes, or attached files are ever included.
- Standard device/app diagnostics: app version, OS version, device model, and an anonymous per-install identifier. Not an advertising identifier: the app does not use IDFA or serve ads.
None of this is linked to your real-world identity. We never collect your name, email, location, contacts, or the contents of what you track. We do not sell data or use it for advertising.
This website also uses Firebase Analytics to understand anonymous page visit traffic (which pages are viewed, general location at the country/region level, and device/browser type). The same rules apply: no personal identification, and no advertising use. Analytics only runs if you click Accept on the banner shown on your first visit; until then nothing is loaded or stored. You can change your choice any time with the Privacy settings link in the page footer. If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, the website does not load analytics or show the banner.
Legal basis, retention and your rights
For users in the EEA, UK and similar regions: we process app crash and usage data under our legitimate interest in keeping the app stable and improving it, and website analytics only with your consent. Google acts as our processor for Firebase and may process this data outside your country, including in the United States. Event-level and user-level analytics data is kept for at most 14 months (we have set it shorter) and crash reports for at most 90 days; only aggregated statistics that identify no one are kept longer.
This data is not linked to your name or email, so we can rarely tell which records are yours. Where we can, you may ask us to access, correct or delete data about you, object to its processing, or withdraw website consent at any time using the Privacy settings link in the footer. You may also complain to your local data protection authority. To make a request, contact us.
Contact form
The support page uses a Google Form. What you type, including your email if you give one, is received through Google Forms and used only to reply to you. Please do not include sensitive information.
Notifications
NoBhool asks for notification permission the first time you create a reminder, so it can alert you before that item expires. Notification scheduling happens entirely on-device via Apple's frameworks.
Data retention & deletion
Locally stored data is deleted when you delete the app, or by removing individual reminders/categories within the app: there is no separate copy of it anywhere for us to delete. To request removal of Firebase-collected diagnostic data associated with your device, contact us.
Children's privacy
NoBhool does not knowingly collect personal information from children, and collects no personal information from any user regardless of age.
